Lick Fork Remembers Sister Buena Large
Sister
Buena Large went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 26,
2008 at the age of 75. She was a beloved member of Lick
Fork Free Will Baptist Church. She was born in West
Virginia, the daughter of Charles Falke and Vesta Mullins Falke.
She was preceded in death by her parents and special aunt, Eula
Gaye King.
She is survived by her husband, Thurman Large; son Michael Large
and two daughters, Charlotte Large and Jamie Mooney and husband
Dicky, all of Clintwood. She is also survived by two
brothers, Greg Mullins of Abingdon and Cecil Mullins of Atlanta,
Ga; and one sister, Etta Nicewonder of Bristol
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Saturday evening Clintwood
Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Allen Viers officiating.
Graveside service and burial followed Sunday, June 29, 2008 at
Temple Hill Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. Family and friends
served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Large will be greatly missed by her church family, friends
and loved ones, yet we rejoice that she is now in the presence
of our Lord.
