Pastor Allen Viers is a native of Haysi, VA, and graduated from Haysi High School in 1979. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Theda Perrigan, for 26 years. They have two children Kayla and Heather and two grandchildren Kadence and McKenzie.

God saved Allen on January 20, 1991, and he was baptized on January 27, 1991. God saved Theda on February 17, 1991, and she was baptized on February 24, 1991.

On August 13, 1995, God called Allen to preach. He was ordained at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church on January 25, 1997. Allen took up membership with Splashdam FWB Church on March 17, 1991.  He was an evangelist for several years at various churches. Allen’s previous employment was at Jewell Smokeless Coal Company.
